Join our book study as we use strategies from Peter Liljedahl’s book, Building Thinking Classrooms, to engage our students with both non-curricular tasks and those from your Into Math lessons. Strategies and tools to get students active, out of their seats, and engaging in discussions about math. This is a two-part session for Cohort #2. Plan on joining us again on April 30th. Participants will explore ways to seamlessly integrate social studies into the ELA block. Please bring a charged device with you along with the current TE/Lesson plans for both Benchmark Advance and the Studies Weekly publication you are using.
In this workshop, teachers will learn how to mirror content from the iPad, as well as use the myViewBoard Companion app to interact with myViewBoard. Please come with a charged iPad to practice as we will have access to multiple ViewBoards.
