About me
April has 22 years of teaching experience with Tulare City Schools, 9 in 6th grade, 6 in 7th/8th grade Art, Leadership and Yearbook, and 7 as the 5th grade roving art teacher for City Schools. She is currently teaching Visual Arts as part of the 6th Grade VAPA Team. April has a BA in Language Arts as well as in Art. Integrating art into all subject areas is not only possible, but easier than one might anticipate. You don't have to be an artist to incorporate art into your curriculum!
