A deeper dive into a STEM Case Studies in a modeled lesson and reflect on the role of the teacher during the experience. Become familiar with the student results heatmap and learn how to effectively monitor student progress and facilitate student learning throughout the process. If you have never been trained on how to teach Expository/Informative writing using SUTW, or if it has been awhile and you need a refresher, this workshop is for you. We will cover the very basics of Expository/Informative Writing (I Chart, Colors, Topic Sentences, Transitions, Big Ideas, Elaborating, and Conclusions.) We will discuss how to integrate this process with any curricular area; especially Science and Social Studies.
Expanding the Gizmos Experience helps develop a deeper understanding of how to integrate Gizmos into the curriculum, and effective uses of whole group and small group instruction. Learn how to get the most from the Gizmo Lesson Materials by making these intentional instructional decisions.
