For 4th-8th grade teachers; If you have never been trained on how to teach Expository/Informative writing using Step Up To Writing , or if it has been awhile and you need a refresher, this workshop is for you. We will cover the very basics of Expository/Informative Writing (I Chart, Colors, Topic Sentences, Transitions, Big Ideas, Elaborating, and Conclusions.) We will also explore some of the little known strategies yet to be discovered in the SUTW binder as well as how to integrate this process with any curricular area; especially Science and Social Studies.
