About me
Since 2002, Cate Tolnai has served educators as they integrate technology-rich, future-ready experiences in all learning environments. She spent ten years teaching in K-12 classrooms and has supported educators at the district, county, and state levels since 2012. Her areas of concentration lie in digital learning, instructional design, and artificial intelligence for professional learners. Cate is also passionate about climate action and leverages her expertise in education technology to influence and enhance environmental education, empowering educators and students to engage in meaningful, sustainable practices. Her emphasis on micro-learning and digital credentials positions her for statewide conversations and strategic program management. Additionally, her work in Marketing Strategy for education programs and solutions rounds out herCate’s co-authored publication, “Power Up Your Classroom: Reimagine Learning Through Gameplay” (ISTE, 2019), presents frameworks for game-based learning engagement and instructional design. She loves to talk about gamification, personalized PD, finding reasons to celebrate every EDUvictory step, and how edtech can drive climate awareness in classrooms.
